I’m Lisa Wellington, the proud single-since-the-beginning 47 year-old mother of a teen daughter. We live north of Seattle in the quaint city of Edmonds. I was born and raised in this area and prefer to pivot from here. I attended Washington State University where I earned a BA in Fine Arts. This of course, enabled me to do illustrious things like chalkboards in bars and design business cards. After about 6 years of working in picture frame stores I left the Seattle skies for the warm Caribbean breezes. I resided there for about 3 years. Does it really matter what I did while I was there? Caribbean breezes, need I say more? For some crazy reason I left and returned to Edmonds.

I currently work for a local police department as an Investigative Assistant. Yes, it’s very interesting. Sort of like being the anesthesiologist in an O.R.; you get to be in on everything but just beyond all the blood and guts. Ok, that was kinda gross.

I was raised Catholic, renewed my faith in college via Campus Crusade for Christ, followed by a 10 year diversion in New Age shades of life without accountability. Then I met Jim Henderson when he rocked-out as a pastor at the Vineyard Church. We live in the same small town. I’ve been working with Jim and Off The Map on various projects for the last 6 months or so.
