Thanks for coming to our worship service. I wish I had spotted you so I could have greeted you more personally, but I'm glad you met Phil and my wife (Barbara.)
I also enjoyed reading your impressions. Everything at church seems so clear to me because I am so used to it; so, it was really helpful to see a detailed description of things from the viewpoint of a first time seeker/visitor.
I hope your child is feeling better.
If you would like a fuller explanation of the content of the Christian faith as we understand it, I invite you to our Alpha course in the Fall. It's exactly for people filled with questions and objections and seeking a comprehensive presentation. It's also a venue in which all questions are welcomed, and all viewpoints are honored. If you're interested, Alpha has a good website at www.Alphausa.org.
Thanks again for visiting, and I wish for you many wonderful discoveries in the course of your search. |

| Thank Jeff, I was trying to remain anonymous as far as my analysis. I also realize you were busy after service shaking hands, being friendly and getting ready for the visitor/new member meeting you had. I understand that many people want to converse with you so I completely understand you have limitations but appreciate you offering to talk with me. I appreciate the Alpha information but on this blog Rick in TX is a covenant member and we converse fine. I don't get where Stephan and Tom in Sacramento are coming from sometimes so I went to better understand their xianity. My son is getting better but it's a virus so we are riding it out. thanks. |

| hello tx...thank you for your opinion concerning the worship at st. barnabas...i especially appreciated your humor in the write-up (ie: the cleaners would rather have a body helping than praying) although i did not agree. i told my wife that i remember looking out as i was relating the mark mcguire story and seeing you just about jumping out of your seat when i talked about the mark m. home run....'twas funny...however, i can't figure out how a boy from illinois might come to be a st. louis fan.... |

| Easy, I like winners. No we lived in central Illinois and my family is all from there. Everyone in my first family are Cardinal fans, yes all of them. My deceased grandpa was the only cubs fan and St. Louis is a lot closer than Chicago. |
